The birds used are white homing pigeons (also known as "rock doves"). They are trained to return home where they are fed and cared for. For the well-being of the birds, they cannot be used during rainy weather and must be released with sufficient time to return home before sundown.

When are the doves available ?

The birds can be released during most daylight hours although there are certain situations where it might not be practical or safe for the birds. Please fill out the form on the Contact page with the event and date you are interested in and we will contact you. Thank you.

How far does your service extend?

We can accommodate events in the South Carolina cities of Gaffney, Blacksburg, Spartanburg, Boiling Springs, Chesnee and Inman; and the North Carolina city of Shelby and the immediate surrounding areas of these cities.

How are the birds released?

The birds are delivered to your event in attractive basket(s) suitable for the occasion. They are released by our trained staff. For the safety of the birds, they cannot be handled by persons other than our employees.

How can I request the birds for a funeral or memorial service?

In most cases, this can be done through the funeral home or the minister in charge of officiating the service.

For their safety, the birds are not available after sunset or during rainy conditions.
